Going Live – Forex Trading for Beginners

By sam

Well, we have reached a crossroads. I had another very good and controlled week last week – and got my target before the week ended. We are going to take time out this holiday week-end to finally decide on how much of our savings we are going to invest in forex.

Yes . . . we have decided that I am going to trade real money as soon as we have deposited it. Yes . . .I am nervous, but I also now know beyond any doubt that I can and am doing it.

In a way, if I hadn’t been so absorbed in this, I wouldn’t have believed that I could have mastered something so alien to me in just 12 weeks – but that’s how long it is since I first took the plunge and started the forex course. And I have to pinch myself when I remember that I knew absolutely nothing on the day that I started.

As this is probably going to be my last post in this format, I must say that taking this forex training course was the best decision I have made in the whole of our married life. The course and the aftercare have been so much more than I hoped for. I now belong to a forex family of several hundred people world wide and we share our experiences on a daily basis. It’s just great.

So finally – thank you Sid and Kris and Forex Training Works – you’ve changed our lives.

    Hi Sam,

I have been following your blog as I am considering taking this forex course myself. So I was just wondering how you are getting on with live trading and how consistent your winning trades are live?

    Thanks

    Hi Pete

I learnt a great deal from the course and have been able to put this to good use in my live trading. My main observation is I have learnt how to compound the money I have invested which has been my goal.

I am really pleased to say that I am now making a Return on Investment. In terms on your point on consistency – if I am in doubt about a trade – I simply don’t trade. This has been the main factor to my being able to regularly make money (I mean weekly).

    Does that help Pete?

    Hi Sam,

Thankyou for your quick reply. Yes your point on consistency does help, but just out of curiosity is it practice in your play account that helps you become aware of when you are in doubt of a trade or is it part of the course? And also is trading live the same format as trading in practice mode?

    Thanks

    Pete

    Hi Pete

I think that the course helped me to understand the techniques and to appreciate the mindset if you like that I needed to get into. Practicing in the game account just helped me to really appreciate those skills – such as exactly when NOT to trade – which could ultimately lead to sporadic and unsafe trading and more to the point – losing money!

The format is indeed very familiar to that of the game account so don’t worry about that Pete. It’s a great course and something I am very glad I did – particularly since my bank account is doing me no favours in the interest it gives me these days!

Just let me know if you have any other questions I can help answer Pete.

    Hi Sam,

I just have one last question I would like to ask you I hope you dont mind, me keep bothering you. Since going live are you still able to get your weekly target with the amount of pips you decide to aim for by the end of the week as I know during your practice account days you were regularly achieving your pip target before the end of the week.

    Thanks

    Pete
