Feb 1st and I’m off . . .

By sam

I must say that I approached this forex course with more than a little trepidation. Truth to tell, I’m not great with figures and after doing some research into Forex on the web there was so much information, much of it in a language I didn’t even recognise, that I ended up overwhelmed and more than a little confused and very apprehensive about the whole thing.

However, having made the decision to take the course, I stuck with it and got quite excited when the first very simple email arrived in my inbox, right on schedule. After a brief welcome I was asked to click on a highlighted link and lo and behold, I was taken immediately to a page on the web, called a download page, with very clear numbered instructions leading me to take my first steps.

Step 1. Click here to listen to a pre-course sound-recording of the trainer introducing himself, the course and how we would be proceeding on a daily basis.

I relaxed, settled down to listen, and was immediately reassured when he started out by saying that no one need worry about keeping up – and that whenever there was a query, an email would bring one-to-one help almost immediately, certainly within an hour or so. To be honest, this really put me at my ease.

It was explained that although the training course was for absolute beginners who know nothing – this was no lightweight course. It would be very thorough, would proceed at a comfortable forex beginners’ pace and that there were 33 tutorials in all, delivered in one’s and two’s on a daily basis.

He went on to say that, in reality, no four week course in the world, could turn out a safe and profitable trader in just four weeks. And that there was a full, one to one support system available to everyone at a nominal cost, for as long as it takes to develop skill and judgment after the course. He also explained that no-one should be trading real money until they had proved, beyond a shadow of doubt, that they were more than capable of doing so within the after-course support system and with expert help.

Finally, we were told that in the event that someone may feel this wasn’t really what they were expecting – a refund of the course fee was available immediately on request.  He also said if anyone felt after the first two weeks that the course wasn’t for them, the same refund would be available. When the short audio was finished, I clicked on the 2nd step.

Step 2. And the first of 33 tutorials was delivered to my inbox within seconds. I clicked to open it up and there was 9 page (portable document) file with 7 pages of large pictures with arrows showing me exactly what to do, one page of text and a page of Q and A’s at the end as a kind of check list that everything was OK.

And I was off on my journey into forex. To finish up after this first experience, let me tell you that within 35 minutes, this absolute novice had registered for a free forex ‘game’ or ‘demo’ account. I went through a short process and my account was open and the trading ‘platform’ was ready to go. And wonder of wonders, I have learned to open trading charts already and I’m poised to go onwards. No more apprehension – I know now that I am in for an enjoyable four weeks forex training.

Excuse me – I’m off now to eagerly open the next tutorial ;-)
