Forex Apprentice – It’s Just Like Passing Your Driving Test
Posted by: | CommentsHi Everyone, it’s been a while and I feel a distinct sense of déjà-vous! Let me take you back to the time you passed your driving test and that sense of excitement, freedom and purpose. You now had your destiny in your own hands, you controlled where you went, when – and how. Completing the forex course has been no different.
My confidence is growing too although I have to say I was over confident one morning this week. I have now got into a good rhythm and am demo trading four mornings out of five during the week, normally getting to my desk anywhere between 6am and 7am, depending on children’s movements and dog walk responsibilities! Professional Compounder Apprenticeship
Posted by: | CommentsWell, here we are, at the end of the four week forex trading course with Sid.
I have taken a good few days and several sittings to write this for you as I have learnt so much and didn’t want to miss a thing in explaining what I have learnt – and how I see things moving forward. This is an abridged version of my great experience to date!
Actually doing a forex course is the simple part, learning, listening and watching has been a big part of the last month, although it doesn’t seem to have taken up too much more of my time. I have made the time to learn everything throughout the course, savoured going off by myself on my FX Game platform to test some of things we have been taught about forex. I know I’ve impressed my husband with what I have learnt – and totally bemused the children – but when I look back, I’ve actually only spent around an hour and a half a day, at the most, on this. So Here It Is – My Forex Training Comes to an End
Posted by: | CommentsWell, here it is, I am literally just about to sit down and listen to my last ever audio and I am definitely going to miss my forex training course! Weird isn’t it? I feel like someone is going away – but I know when I do see them again it will be even better!
I intend to do a much more in-depth post about the whole course in a day or two. I think just a little time to let the last four weeks gel, would be a good idea before I do this.
I am very excited about the joining the support group (The BBC Club). I feel like I will be joining a new group of friends, a bit like moving into a new village where I will learn a lot from others, be a part of something where we’ll chat, share our experiences as ‘forex traders’ and probably have some great experiences along the way. I Can’t Believe It’s Nearly Over
Posted by: | CommentsI’m late with this report, it’s Thursday evening as I write. We had a few dramas in the week with the kids which kept me back a bit – thank goodness Sid and Kris are flexible with the course.
Anyway, this week so far has been mostly really great videos of trading and one about some simple, but as I understand it, very necessary rules – four of them. These rules simply mean that we’ll never be gambling with our capital, and this is very important for us as a family.
What reassures me constantly is that there is a real structure to the whole approach to making money work for you. It’s really about running trading to rules mixed with common-sense. The idea is, safety – first and last. Read More→
The End of Week Three of My Forex Training
Posted by: | CommentsIs it really the end of week three already – it’s just flown by! I have learnt a lot, reflected a lot (funny how these things make you think as I have mentioned quite a few times already) and continue to feel that sense of empowerment with the way in which this forex training course is given.
I am continuing to learn not just about great techniques and where I may be able to find an opportunity to trade – and more importantly – how to do it safely, but I am also learning new life skills. Patience for starters, I have a rather poor joke, in that when I explain to people who don’t me know so well that I left the queue whilst God was giving out patience. Moving on swiftly from that (and apologies for my distinctly average sense of humour) – a great lesson this week has been an example of how dangerous not being patient can be in forex. This has been something that has been one of my downfalls in life, not taking a step back and not being patient. I won’t be making that mistake when I am a live trader! Read More→
Beginning of Week 3 – Learning Forex
Posted by: | CommentsWell it’s week three – did you get to the point where Sid asks you what your ROI would be if you are being cautious?! Well peel me off the ceiling please – it was monumental! I really had to take a step back, calm down and focus! Read More→
Take a Break – Take a Forex Course!
Posted by: | CommentsDo you know – the more I do this, the more I WANT to do it. I apologise if this post is a little long – but you’ll see I have lots to say this week.
I’m now at the end of the second week. The last three tutorials all came on Thursday and were all about money management strategies and the means to make an individual business plan for the future, based on worst case trading performance.
The truth is that it blew my mind. I couldn’t sleep on Friday night – I haven’t really been concentrating on the money side of things up till now, but when you start to understand what is possible here, with very conservative figures, it really is mind-blowing. Read More→
Life Before Learning Forex
Posted by: | CommentsI am obviously still a beginner at learning forex – let’s face it, I have only been doing this just over a week. I am being true to my word and have made an hour each day to continue my journey.
My husband chuckled this morning, he explained (being a female I can have selective memory!) that the reason for his mirth was the fact that only a couple of weeks ago I said that I couldn’t do any more than I was doing: I have three step-children, two very bouncy and boisterous dogs and run my own business. When I explained that I was becoming more and more intrigued by Forex he reminded me of my recent frustrations. His point was that this course is doing me good as it is giving me a focus outside of work, family and the daily routine. In fact, he is beginning to ask quite a few questions himself! Read More→
The End Of My First Forex Week
Posted by: | CommentsI’m writing this on Saturday at the end of my first week of forex training. I have just listened to the weekend audio talk and summary. I can only say ‘Wow’, I am SO impressed with everything.
The audio I have just listened to has given me an in depth understanding of how to distinguish the good from the not so good claims and promises made by brokers and pundits in forex. I would say this one session alone was almost worth the course fee. Read More→
Learning Forex – Day 3
Posted by: | CommentsWhere ever was I before I started on this journey to learn forex - the one thing that that I am really, really feeling confident about is the amount of detail that there is in the tutorials It is making everything clear and everything is so visual. Each tutorial has clear diagrams and descriptions as to what each element relates to.
Would you believe I had no idea about Candles in Forex less than 48 hours ago? Just to make sure that I am really up to speed with what I have just learnt, there is a handy (but brief) questionnaire at the end of each tutorial, just to jog the memory. Read More→
