One More Week of Easter Holidays
Posted by: | CommentsThe Easter Bank Holiday seems like quite a long time ago now doesn’t it?! I have really made the most of this week as you all know. I have done some revising and had a great time trading for the last couple of mornings. It just doesn’t feel like work at all getting up in the mornings and getting ready for my daily trade, my forex rendez-vous is a great start to my day!
Every once in a while, an experience from your past comes out of nowhere and reminds you of just how much better life is now. I spent the early part of my career working as a PA to some incredibly interesting business leaders – and they really were! The long nights of having to work until the early hours, the 3am starts – yes, I really did say 3am are all but a dim and distant memory. But why is this relevant to you my learning forex and my post today? Well, before the children broke up I had the perpetual thought of “how am I going to fit everything in this Easter break and will I need to find some more hours either side of my day as I really want to make sure I don’t miss out on my forex training?”
I am so pleased to be able to report that this hasn’t been the case at all – by being organised and already in a great routine where I am at my desk for my daily forex rendez-vous at 6.30, there hasn’t been any more pressure to the hectic daily schedule, in fact – it has been a really peaceful and calm start to the day – before the phone rings and the children start asking what we will be doing …… sound familiar?!

Plan for Next Week – Avoiding Compounding My Errors
Posted by: | CommentsI love planning and I try to plan everything where I possibly can. I am one of those sorts that put endless notes around the house that may simply look like a Post It Note with a scrawl on it – but to me it means everything! The only thing that I can fall down on is what we will eat mid-week, there again, don’t we all?
I have really been pondering about the call from last week and Sid said something that has really struck home and I have fully taken on board “avoid compounding our errors”. That makes perfect sense to me and I am entering a new week with greater gusto – and a whole lot of discipline. Whilst in my apprenticeship, I am soaking it all in still and determined to get it right – which I know I can. Read More→
The End of Week Three of My Forex Training
Posted by: | CommentsIs it really the end of week three already – it’s just flown by! I have learnt a lot, reflected a lot (funny how these things make you think as I have mentioned quite a few times already) and continue to feel that sense of empowerment with the way in which this forex training course is given.
I am continuing to learn not just about great techniques and where I may be able to find an opportunity to trade – and more importantly – how to do it safely, but I am also learning new life skills. Patience for starters, I have a rather poor joke, in that when I explain to people who don’t me know so well that I left the queue whilst God was giving out patience. Moving on swiftly from that (and apologies for my distinctly average sense of humour) – a great lesson this week has been an example of how dangerous not being patient can be in forex. This has been something that has been one of my downfalls in life, not taking a step back and not being patient. I won’t be making that mistake when I am a live trader! Read More→
