A New Forex Era Looming?

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

This week, for the first time, I reached my weekly target on Wednesday, and true to the spirit of making money safely, I closed my trading platform in the happy knowledge that I would not be trading again this week.

This may be difficult to understand but I have gone through the most amazing transition in my thinking about money-making. This apprenticeship is really where you start to appreciate that making money from forex, the ‘Forex Training Works‘ way is so different from my previous perception. I know that I have turned a corner that will change my life from now on.

What is the difference? Well, it’s about changing a conditioned mindset. Just ten weeks ago, when I started the forex training course on February 1st, I KNEW that the harder I worked, the more hours I put in, the more effort I expended – the more money I would make. Let’s apply that to forex for a moment.

On average, I am actually trading for around one hour in the morning. If I can make my target in an hour – it it seems to be a no-brainer, that if I work for four hours I could make four times the money. If I worked even harder and put in eight hours and expended equal effort – I could make eight times the money. In the outside world, I know that’s true. In forex it is completely the reverse.

SAFE trading to make money is about CAREFULLY using a time period for what looks like a small achievement. To risk that achievement would be a nonsense because that small CONSISTENT achievement adds up to an enormous profit as it rolls up and compounds. Best of all, and this is where I have turned a corner, it is a super STRESSLESS and risk-less way of making money work for you – instead of you working for money.

I have ‘worked’ at forex trading, for around three hours this week. I have added up my ‘potential’ earnings since I started demo trading seven weeks ago – and I am amazed at my potential ‘return on investment’.

Return on investment, as I have learned, is the percentage amount my original capital sum has grown over this period. We don’t ever talk actual money because it’s obvious that the percentage brings us all to a level playing field whatever small or large capital we start with.

My return on investment at a small 10 pip a week target has been almost 22% in just seven weeks. Compare that, to the money we have in an investment account that is earning us around 2.5% per YEAR right now.

So on the basis of the possibilities, without stress, without hours and almost without effort, my husband and I have decided that if I can confirm these results over the next week or so without trauma – I will become a live trader.

I realize that ‘going live’ will present different challenges – but I know I can do this. I enjoy doing it and this new direction could genuinely change our lives.

I started this, HOPING I could do it. Now I know I can.

A Party Political FREE Zone

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

Ok – so now we know that there’s a General Election imminent here in the UK.

So tell me, who is already feeling like they are being force fed with election news – of which we are being served up absolute oceans of “spin”.  What is ’spin’? Well, to be generous – it may be the truth – but if it is, it’s stretched so thin as to be almost transparent.

Thankfully, there is absolutely NO comparison between our current political diet of spin, spin and more spin – and Sid and Kris’s forex training course!

Sid and Kris have delivered exactly what they said they would from the outset – a straight talking, no nonsense course.  The course itself went at a great pace and it’s only now that I am really benefiting from the level of information that Sid included in each tutorial.  I constantly refer to my notes and Kris’s daily support, thanks to the BBC Club, is helping me every day.  It’s not just Kris’ valuable feedback and Sid’s regular emails encouraging us to keep perspective – but being able to see what everyone else is doing is fascinating.

The BBC Club is made up of a significant number of traders and forex apprentices all at different levels; I have always been a great believer in the old mantra that you can always learn from others – and I think the BBC Club really embraces this philosophy.   I regularly read about how well the more experienced traders do each week and I can also see how they do it.  Sid and Kris’s helpful input has helped me to understand how these traders could be doing even better – so it’s a win, win!

Wouldn’t it be marvellous if our politicians could be as straight forward as Sid and Kris and deliver what they say the will?  Thank goodness for Forex Training Works eh?!

Forex Forever!

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

Another great start to my morning with my forex rendez-vous.  When it’s a busy week I really find that my trading gives me a positive start to the day, even if everything else around me is in chaos.  It gives me a warm feeling that everything will turn out just fine and that I am now, maybe for the first time that I can remember, in control of what is going to happen in my life, something that we are rarely able to savour in today’s world which seems to be in a constant fast-forward.

I have spent a lot of time the last couple of weeks observing the markets and playing it safe. Now some of you who are looking to learn forex may think this is a bad thing, but let me tell you it is far from it.

I have made money so far with my trading (technically speaking of course as I am still ‘in-demo’ and not a live trader as yet).  Take that statement to the next logical step, why would I RISK what I have made if I have already earned money?  Moreover, why would I risk my money when it has been earned in such a pleasant way – from the comfort of my own home, without any stress in a peaceful environment just at the start of my day?

There are so many other positives to my experience, Sid and Kris feel like they have become my friends and are certainly great mentors for me – I am learning how to be a successful forex trader as well as being taught some personal development based skills that I would have had to pay thousands for in a commercial environment! This in itself has been worth its weight in gold to me – and as that famous credit card advertisement statement explains, it’s “priceless”!

One More Week of Easter Holidays

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

The Easter Bank Holiday seems like quite a long time ago now doesn’t it?!   I have really made the most of this week as you all know.  I have done some revising and had a great time trading for the last couple of mornings.  It just doesn’t feel like work at all getting up in the mornings and getting ready for my daily trade, my forex rendez-vous is a great start to my day!

Every once in a while, an experience from your past comes out of nowhere and reminds you of just how much better life is now.  I spent the early part of my career working as a PA to some incredibly interesting business leaders – and they really were!  The long nights of having to work until the early hours, the 3am starts – yes, I really did say 3am are all but a dim and distant memory.  But why is this relevant to you my learning forex and my post today?  Well, before the children broke up I had the perpetual thought of “how am I going to fit everything in this Easter break and will I need to find some more hours either side of my day as I really want to make sure I don’t miss out on my forex training?”

I am so pleased to be able to report that this hasn’t been the case at all – by being organised and already in a great routine where I am at my desk for my daily forex rendez-vous at 6.30, there hasn’t been any more pressure to the hectic daily schedule, in fact – it has been a really peaceful and calm start to the day – before the phone rings and the children start asking what we will be doing …… sound familiar?!

My First Forex Easter

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

Well can you believe it – it’s nearly Easter and we are so close to the much anticipated Easter weekend and I refuse to let this awful weather get the better of me!

When you need to cram five days in to four it can get a bit hectic, in fact I was in Nottingham all day Tuesday and had my first mobile trade!  It has been another great week for me – and Sid’s golden rule of safety first has paid off dividends!

I am loving my new found skill of patience and let me tell you why;  I know that they say self praise is no praise – buy hey, this is my blog and Sid has said I say what I like so here goes!

Sid has taught us how to read the market and make the most out of it – after all we are here to make our lives better financially. One of the important rules we are taught is not to trade when in doubt; I have been really diligent this week and have been at my desk at 6.30 each day before sorting out the normal daily chores. I have it scheduled into my diary as my daily forex rendez-vous!

Anyway, today it just didn’t feel right – so I didn’t trade.  Sounds daft – but it was the right think to do.   I listened to what Sid advised us and decided not to risk what I have already made this week.

Sid really made my day after I sent in my daily update when he sent a short email saying “well done” on my decision today. Now isn’t that great one-to-one support after a forex training course?! Sid and Kris have been so great and they are both so patient, although I have no idea how they find the time for all of us!

Right that’s it for today – this might not sound like much to those who are looking at doing a forex training course, but believe me once you begin to learn about how to make money with forex, each new golden rule you experience is even more exciting than the last!  By keeping my money safe today I am still making money as I didn’t risk anything – and that’s the point.  It’s not about risk – and now I really get it!  It really does pay to listen and lock away the ego!

Making Hay Whilst The Sun Shines

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

Well, just trying to catch up with myself again after my folks came for a long weekend. So lovely to see them and we had what I call a good old-fashioned family get-together which I love. However, it’s back to the real world and I realised that I’m guilty of not keeping up with my blog posting – so if you are following my progress – I apologise for the long gap and I’ll try to keep up in future ;-)

Well, this is a story of last week. I’m still on a voyage of discovery here and it’s probably one of the most exciting things I’ve been involved with for a very long time. I need to explain a few things so you’ll understand where I’m coming from – and more importantly, where I’m going, as I develop my understanding. Because this is SO much better than I have given it credit for up to now. Read More→

Hi Everyone, it’s been a while and I feel a distinct sense of déjà-vous!  Let me take you back to the time you passed your driving test and that sense of excitement, freedom and purpose.  You now had your destiny in your own hands, you controlled where you went, when – and how.  Completing the forex course has been no different.

My confidence is growing too although I have to say I was over confident one morning this week.  I have now got into a good rhythm and am demo trading four mornings out of five during the week, normally getting to my desk anywhere between 6am and 7am, depending on children’s movements and dog walk responsibilities! Well, here it is,  I am literally just about to sit down and listen to my last ever audio and I am definitely going to miss my forex training course!  Weird isn’t it?  I feel like someone is going away – but I know when I do see them again it will be even better!

I intend to do a much more in-depth post about the whole course in a day or two. I think just a little time to let the last four weeks gel, would be a good idea before I do this.

I am very excited about the joining the support group (The BBC Club). I feel like I will be joining a new group of friends, a bit like moving into a new village where I will learn a lot from others, be a part of something where we’ll chat, share our experiences as ‘forex traders’ and probably have some great experiences along the way. Beginning of Week 3 – Learning Forex

Posted by: sam | Comments (0)

Well it’s week three – did you get to the point where Sid asks you what your ROI would be if you are being cautious?!  Well peel me off the ceiling please – it was monumental!  I really had to take a step back, calm down and focus! Read More→

Life Before Learning Forex

Posted by: sam | Comments (2)

I am obviously still a beginner at learning forex – let’s face it, I have only been doing this just over a week.  I am being true to my word and have made an hour each day to continue my journey.

My husband chuckled this morning, he explained (being a female I can have selective memory!) that the reason for his mirth was the fact that only a couple of weeks ago I said that I couldn’t do any more than I was doing: I have three step-children, two very bouncy and boisterous dogs and run my own business. When I explained that I was becoming more and more intrigued by Forex he reminded me of my recent frustrations. His point was that this course is doing me good as it is giving me a focus outside of work, family and the daily routine.  In fact, he is beginning to ask quite a few questions himself! Read More→
