Setting out to discover where to find a good forex trading tutorial would be a next to impossible task in our opinion. For someone new to forex trading, it might seem like the obvious route to take – but the difficulty lies in the simple fact that there are many, many different ways to trade forex.

And is ANY forex trading tutorial going to contain the complete picture when it comes to safely and consistently trading for profit in the foreign currency exchange market?

In this article we will try to set out all the reasons why such a simple task as looking for a suitable single forex trading tutorial, could never adequately deal with the requirements of anyone new to forex.

First, let us ask the question, what should such a forex trading tutorial contain? Should it simply set out several different trading strategies after a chapter or two on charting? It would be easy for the uninitiated to think that this approach would be acceptable.

But, of course, there’s much more to successful forex trading than that. In fact, it would be sensible to say that there should really be one forex trading tutorial for charting alone when we consider the Heinkin Ashi charting system, the Close Price charts or Bar and Candlestick charts – all need some form of explanation.

And after charting, it follows that an explanation of systems is important. Technical Indicators or Fundamentals. Pivot-points, the Fibonnaci or no indicators at all. It’s really easy to see that almost everything mentioned in this article so far could almost do with a forex trading tutorial all of it’s own.

Forex Trading Tutorial Topics

There are well over twenty technical forex technical indicators alone, each needing attention of some kind or another to do them justice.

So without going overboard, here is a conservative list of items that it really is necessary to know something about – which any respectable forex trading tutorial should contain.

• Brokerage. Not all brokers are 100% honest in the true sense of the word.
• Leverage – related to brokerage and an important forex subject.
• The forex trading platform and how it all works.
• How the monetary system works within forex.
• Different types of account etc.
• Money management strategies and forex business planning.
• Charting.
• Indicators.
• Forex trading pairs.
• Trading strategies, long, medium and short term.
• Discipline.

These are the important forex subject-headings and there isn’t a forex trading tutorial in the world that can cover these subjects adequately – or even get close to it.

The perhaps, ‘unknown to the new person’, necessity for safe and consistently profitable forex trading is that it is advisable to learn a little of most, if not all of these subjects.
