Debbie - please tell me a little bit about your background

I work now as a Realtor in Mexico. It's hard work, long hours and I'm not happy. Previously, I also trained and qualified as an R.N. and practised in California but long hours and so much patient-overload really isn't attractive any more.

What was your 'normal' life like before Forex?

Frankly - stressed out, unhappy and not really going anywhere. At 53 years old, I was completely frustrated with the work grind and feeling powerless - and I'm way too independent to work for someone else.

What brought you to look at earning more/extra money outside your normal life?

We decided to move back to California full-time to be closer to family and friends. It takes a lot of extra money to live back in California because the cost of living is so much greater than that of Mexico.

What influenced you to look at Forex?

My husband has dabbled in trading for years We never talked about it much, I guess you could call him unsuccessful. He stumbled across a Forex For Beginners course and got excited about it for himself and then got excited about it for me too. He said I had all the qualities needed to be a good trader. To be honest, I was amazed that he thought so.

Why did you pick Forex?

At first I laughed. I was sceptical because what little I knew about it made me think it was another 'get rich quick' scheme. It all sounded too good to be true. But the more I thought about it, the more interested I became.

After working all hours, travelling and grinding along, the prospect of working from home seemed very attractive to me. Then I realised as we talked, that I could do it from ANY home - Mexico, California - it wouldn't matter where we were, I could earn money from anywhere.

How did you enjoy the learning process for Forex - were you anxious - and did the anxiety go away?

I was very anxious about trying to learn how to trade. Doubts crept in and I didn’t think I could do it. I’m not good with numbers, graphs, technical data, etc.

I was afraid I would lose my capital, lickety-split and I sure as heck didn’t want to do that. I knew pretty much nothing about Forex. But my husband and I took the course together last November (2007) and it truly has changed my life.

And now - how do you feel about it?

I’m feeling emotional just trying to put it into words how grateful I am for this wonderful life-changing course. I have a renewed sense of empowerment over my life.

Because this type of trading is done for only a few hours each day, I have time to have a life. One in which I call the shots, one without fear because compounding my money will allow me to have the things I need to live comfortably in the way that I want to.

What do you feel it can or does give you as a person and as a woman?

I am so excited about my future now. On so many levels this course was exactly what I needed. I’ve learned so much about myself since I started with the course. An unexpected bonus for me has been the fact that it has forced me to really look inside myself and learn some things about ME.

Can I be patient, disciplined and follow simple rules? This is just as important for me to learn about myself as compounding the capital. These traits will cross over into other areas of my life, which will help me be a better business owner and person in general.

And has your longer term outlook improved or not - maybe enlarge a little on this?

I have so much optimism now about my future. I look forward to all the possibilities this new life will afford me. I want to thank my trainers for sharing the passion in such a way that a regular person like ME can comprehend it and be successful.

I feel safe in the arms of your trading method because I know that as long as I follow the rules, I will be able to earn money from home and compound my capital at the same time.
