Student Interview:
Graham, IT Manager from London, UK
I asked a dozen ordinary people to fill in a questionaire about their background and experience on my course.
Most had no previous experience of Forex whatsoever before taking our four week Forex course.
This is the unedited response from Graham.
Graham - please tell me a little bit about your background
I am a mid-forties side of life person (nearer the fifties side as my wife would say) living outside of London, England. I went to university in Manchester, and did electronics engineering before beginning a career in Information Technology.
I am currently a senior IT manager for a large and very well known global company. I have two sons who are in senior school, with one rapidly approaching the time to take his first set of exams.
What your normal life was like before finding Forex?
Thanks to my career to date, as a family we have never been wanting. However, I have always had that entrepreneurial spirit, and in the past have run my own engineering design and IT consultancy companies. My only regret is that they never made it to "the big time".
This is not because of an ego trip, but because I would like to get to the stage where my income for the family was secure, and so that I could spend my time on a combination of charitable work and following those pursuits that I have always wanted to do but had never had the time to engage.
What brought you to look at earning more/extra money outside your normal life?
I think I said it all above.

What brought you to look at Forex?
One of the activities that I had engaged in before starting trading Forex was trading the commodity markets, mainly in the grains, softs and metals. While I did make some money, live trading of commodities is not easy to carry out around an 08:00 to 19:00 hour job.
The small gains that one made could easily be lost on a sudden downturn that went "limit down" which meant that even your stops could not be guaranteed. Knowing that trading on the financial markets could bring a reward if correctly implemented, had led me to explore a number of different types of trading before arriving at "Sid's Forex".
I had spent, like Sid himself, a small fortune on trading courses and seminars prior to finding Sid's course on a business opportunity website almost by chance.
Why did you pick Forex?
In the end, it wasn't so much as picking Forex as an opportunity, it was picking a simple trading system that enabled somebody to build up their capital which continuing with their day job.
Any body can make a few pounds, dollars or yen from a multitude of trading systems and markets, but it is very difficult to find a "system" that enables somebody to do this in a stress free manner while still holding down a day job.
Sid does make the very realistic point that this is not a quick way to make a million bucks in six months flat; having seen many of this type of scheme previously, this gave me more confidence that this was something real.

How did you enjoy the learning process for Forex - were you anxious - and did the anxiety go away?
Sid's previous background as a trainer is obvious in the material that accompanies the course – many other courses and seminars that I have been on are either very technical, or miss out the golden nuggets of information that enable the participant to walk away and trade the method that they have just been taught.
Sid's is the opposite – he takes you from zero knowledge through a set of well prepared modules over a four week time span that show you both the principles of Forex (as far as you need to know), and the mechanics of implementing "his method" on a live trading platform. I can honestly say that the learning process won't fail you.

And now - how do you feel about it?
Having been through numerous professional development and market trading courses, I initially thought that this one would be in the same vein – heavy work to get through and tedious; how wrong I was. Before I embarked on the formal part of the course, I looked at Sid's web site and this gave me the clue that this was something different.
I then spoke to Sid, and just by talking to him knew that this course would be different. The simple graphics, text and examples are all easy to follow, and the screenshots of the live trading platform clearly show the novice what to do. In the end, even if you decide not to go on to live trading, it will have been an enjoyable experience.
What do you feel the total learning process did for you as a person?
Through a combination of the unique style of the course modules, the ability to "practice" on a simulated trading platform that is virtually identical to the real one, and Sid's own coaching style leaves you with more than just a feeling that you have completed another course – you have achieved an inner goal and a feeling of satisfaction.
Has your longer term outlook improved or not - maybe enlarge a little on this?
Having now progressed to be a live trader (after a period of some months I have to add), I can now map out a life-plan that will enable me to achieve my own personal goals in a few years time. This for me is the first time I have been able to do this having tried a number of previous business ventures in the past.
What do you think of the mentorship that took you to the point of live trading?
It is essential that you follow the rules laid down in the course to the letter; deviation will almost certainly result in failure. Through both the one-on-one e-mail support during the four weeks of the course, and through the website on your weeks of "learning your trade" or "Forex apprenticeship", the feedback provide by Sid is second to none both in the trading business and in my experience of courses in lots of other fields.
Through the daily "blog", members get not only the moral support of being part not only of a wider community learning from the mistakes of others, but get their mistakes corrected in a manner that you will remember for the rest of your trading days.
It is all part of a well devised plan created by Sid that ensures that you have both the mental and practical skills finely honed before you commit your hard earned cash to the hungry Forex market. As Sid teaches during the course, 95% of people loose their total capital in the first three months of trading the Forex market.
Following Sid's simple rules and techniques turns this ratio round to make trading be in your favour rather than in the markets.

Do you feel that I taught you to be a SAFE trader, looking after your capital properly?
Sid's method relies on compounding small but safe daily gains into an overall much larger amount. Take a pound at the start of the month and double it every day and check out how much it is worth after thirty days – the same applies to "Sid's plan".
Following this methodology enables you to have the occasional small daily loss with the overall result that you will still be there to trade tomorrow, and will reach your financial goal in almost a predicted time period.
Do you think there is an element of gambling in your live trading?
Every type of trading represents some form of gambling; you could lose your stake or margin money if the market goes against you. However, Sid's method of Forex trading turns the odds of you winning from 33-1 against to 1-2 in favour.
Which would you bet on; the high paying horse in a field of 20 that might get taken out at any jump, or the steady horse returning odds of only 2-1 who has won every race this year competing in a two horse race against a horse who has just returned from being lame ? If you chose the first, then Sid's type of Forex trading is not for you.
How do you rate your chances of keeping, rather than losing your capital?
Since starting to trade live, I have already earned back all the investment I made in the course and am now following the nice and steady capital growth planned in the business plan that Sid showed me as part of the course.
Still being a participant in the daily blog (where individuals post their daily trades with gains measured in points rather than actual £ values), enables me to continually remind myself that I will succeed if I just stick to the rules.
Do you feel better about your future now?
I do believe that I have now found a safe and secure method that will enable me to grow my initial capital to a size where I may be able to give up the day job at a pre-determined point of time in the future only working for an hour a day, and without having the stresses and strains of many other forms of trading or multi-level marketing. All it takes is patience, discipline and having a mental attitude to succeed.
Is it nice to be making some money from trading in such a short time window every day?
Normally I trade for a maximum of ¾ hour before heading off to do a "normal days work". My record is getting my daily target in only five minutes, and earning more than I would through the rest of the day!!
Anything you want to say that I didn't ask?
To anyone reading this, I would say, 'have a go'; all you are risking initially is the price of the course for the possibility of a life-changing opportunity.
