Student Interview:
Graham, IT Manager from London, UK
I asked a dozen ordinary people to fill in a questionaire about their background and experience on my course. Most had no previous experience of Forex whatsoever before taking our four week Forex course. This is the unedited response from Jonathan.
Graham - please tell me a little bit about your background
I am a mid-forties side of life person (nearer the fifties side as my wife would say) living outside of London, England. I went to university in Manchester, and did electronics engineering before beginning a career in Information Technology.
I am currently a senior IT manager for a large and very well known global company. I have two sons who are in senior school, with one rapidly approaching the time to take his first set of exams.
What your normal life was like before finding Forex?
Thanks to my career to date, as a family we have never been wanting. However, I have always had that entrepreneurial spirit, and in the past have run my own engineering design and IT consultancy companies. My only regret is that they never made it to "the big time".
This is not because of an ego trip, but because I would like to get to the stage where my income for the family was secure, and so that I could spend my time on a combination of charitable work and following those pursuits that I have always wanted to do but had never had the time to engage.
What brought you to look at earning more/extra money outside your normal life?
I think I said it all above.

What brought you to look at Forex?
One of the activities that I had engaged in before starting trading Forex was trading the commodity markets, mainly in the grains, softs and metals. While I did make some money, live trading of commodities is not easy to carry out around an 08:00 to 19:00 hour job.
The small gains that one made could easily be lost on a sudden downturn that went "limit down" which meant that even your stops could not be guaranteed. Knowing that trading on the financial markets could bring a reward if correctly implemented, had led me to explore a number of different types of trading before arriving at "Sid's Forex".
I had spent, like Sid himself, a small fortune on trading courses and seminars prior to finding Sid's course on a business opportunity website almost by chance.
Why did you pick Forex?
In the end, it wasn't so much as picking Forex as an opportunity, it was picking a simple trading system that enabled somebody to build up their capital which continuing with their day job.
Any body can make a few pounds, dollars or yen from a multitude of trading systems and markets, but it is very difficult to find a "system" that enables somebody to do this in a stress free manner while still holding down a day job.
Sid does make the very realistic point that this is not a quick way to make a million bucks in six months flat; having seen many of this type of scheme previously, this gave me more confidence that this was something real.
How did you enjoy the learning process for Forex - were you anxious - and did the anxiety go away?
Sid's previous background as a trainer is obvious in the material that accompanies the course – many other courses and seminars that I have been on are either very technical, or miss out the golden nuggets of information that enable the participant to walk away and trade the method that they have just been taught.
Sid's is the opposite – he takes you from zero knowledge through a set of well prepared modules over a four week time span that show you both the principles of Forex (as far as you need to know), and the mechanics of implementing "his method" on a live trading platform. I can honestly say that the learning process won't fail you.

And now - how do you feel about it?
Having been through numerous professional development and market trading courses, I initially thought that this one would be in the same vein – heavy work to get through and tedious; how wrong I was. Before I embarked on the formal part of the course, I looked at Sid's web site and this gave me the clue that this was something different.
I then spoke to Sid, and just by talking to him knew that this course would be different. The simple graphics, text and examples are all easy to follow, and the screenshots of the live trading platform clearly show the novice what to do. In the end, even if you decide not to go on to live trading, it will have been an enjoyable experience.
What do you feel the total learning process did for you as a person?
Through a combination of the unique style of the course modules, the ability to "practice" on a simulated trading platform that is virtually identical to the real one, and Sid's own coaching style leaves you with more than just a feeling that you have completed another course – you have achieved an inner goal and a feeling of satisfaction.
Has your longer term outlook improved or not - maybe enlarge a little on this?
Having now progressed to be a live trader (after a period of some months I have to add), I can now map out a life-plan that will enable me to achieve my own personal goals in a few years time. This for me is the first time I have been able to do
